Imperial Motion

Today we only have 1 photo/video for Wednesdays at the Warehouse. If you recall about a month ago, one of the guys crashed on his bike after leaving work, leaving the gnarliest bruise ever. What you didn’t get to hear was the voicemail we received right after it happened. Here is the voicemail and the photo right before it happened.

Dave recently got back from a trip to El Salvador and although him and photographer, Benton Sampson had a whole slue of complications with cameras, water housings, and external hard drives, they managed to walk away with probably the most price-less images from the whole trip.

Below is a young boy that Dave and Benton had spotted one day watching the waves, fascinated and itching to surf. Before they headed home, they set out to find this kid. When they found him they asked why he doesn’t surf, his response was, ” No tabla,” meaning he doesn’t have a board. Dave gave him a board that was given to him as a gift. You can see the stoke in this kids eyes…

While on their mission to find that kid, they stumbled upon this kid, who was playing in the ocean naked. With an extra pair of trunks in hand, he was able to hook the kid up. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that we take for granted, like having a pair of trunks to go in the water with. It’s difficult to even understand the level of appreciation this kid is feeling.
