We asked ourselves, what would be our ideal t-shirt? From this question the Density T-Shirt was born. Crafted from 100% heavyweight ring spun cotton and constructed with flat lock stitching on all seams for ultimate durability. We designed the Density to have just the right amount of added length and a side split shirt tail at the back. The collar is constructed with heavy duty 1x1 ribbing and bound to maintain shape over time. Finished it off with subtle high end woven labels and a tonal embroidery.

Love these
I love these shirts. They are long in the torso if you're short, but I like the look. Very dark black and nice size neck hole. The material is thin, but not too thin. Definitely buy some S/S and L/S you won't be disappointed.

Would be the best t-shirt money could buy if it weren't for the side-slits and elongated tail
When it comes to quality, nothing beats this shirt. At 5'11"/155 lb, I usually wear large t-shirts because almost every other brand of t-shirt will shrink significantly. With these, a medium was a perfect fit. They do not shrink and are cut better than any other t shirt I've worn. Unfortunately, I absolutely hate the side-slits with the elongated shirt-tail. One of the reasons I love IM is because of their simple, yet functional style on most of their products. They are one of the only clothing brands---not only in the surf industry, but in general---that do not make overly flashy clothes and choose to focus on simplicity and functionality. However, they missed this mark when they decided to go with the useless, flashy slits and tail for these shirts. To most people, this will probably be a small issue. If you're cool with it, then definitely buy this shirt. You won't be disappointed. For me however, even this small issue completely ruins the simple aesthetic, and is not my style at all. Less is more. Its a shame because these are such good shirts, and I'd have a lot of them if it weren't for this. I hope IM considers making these shirts with a normal shirt tail in the future.

Great experience both online and once the product arrived. Shrank a bit when I washed/dried it even on low heat but not enough that I can't wear it again. Will be hang drying this shirt for now on.

Worth the money
Finding a tshirt that’s not garbage is kinda hard. These fit me well, which is usually tricky due to having a big back and shoulders from rock climbing and surfing. They don’t shrink a ton in the drier and remain relatively cat hair free with minimal effort.
